Research Backgrounds

Function:

May be involved in p53-induced cell cycle arrest in G2/M phase by interfering with microtubule rearrangements that are required to enter mitosis. Overexpression delays G2/M phase progression.

PTMs:

Phosphorylated in mitosis.

Subcellular Location:

Cytoplasm>Cytoskeleton.

Application: WB    Species: Human    Sample: NSCLC cells

Figure 1 miR-181a-5p was down-regulated and GTSE1 was up-regulated in NSCLC cells. A: expression of miR-181a5p detected by RT-qPCR; B: expression of GTSE1 detected by RT-qPCR; C: protein expression of GTSE1 detected by Western blot. Cell experiment was replicated 3 times. Data were described as mean ± standard deviation. Data comparisons between two groups were analyzed using the t test. The post hoc test was conducted using Tukey’s multiple comparisons test.
